These Terms of Use govern your use of the ProLocally website and referral service. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

What ProLocally is

ProLocally is a referral and connection service. We may route eligible consumer calls or requests to independent home-service providers or referral partners. ProLocally does not itself perform plumbing, HVAC, roofing, electrical, pest-control, water-restoration, or other contractor services.

Independent providers

Providers are independent businesses and are not employees, agents, franchisees, or representatives of ProLocally. A provider is solely responsible for the work it agrees to perform, including estimates, pricing, scheduling, scope, staffing, permits, licenses, insurance, warranties, safety, quality, and compliance with applicable law.

No endorsement or guarantee

A referral or routed call is an introduction only. Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing, ProLocally does not guarantee a provider's availability, qualifications, licensing, insurance, pricing, response time, workmanship, or suitability for a particular job. You are responsible for evaluating any provider before hiring it.

Availability and routing

Call routing and provider availability can vary by location, service category, time, campaign rules, and partner coverage. We do not guarantee that every call or request will be connected or that a connected provider will accept the job.

Transactions are between you and the provider

Any service agreement, quote, payment, refund, warranty, dispute, or other transaction is directly between you and the independent provider unless ProLocally expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Emergency situations

ProLocally is not an emergency-response service. Do not rely on ProLocally for fire, suspected gas leaks, medical emergencies, or situations involving an immediate threat to life or property. Contact 911, your utility, or the appropriate local emergency service.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to generate fraudulent or artificial calls or leads, impersonate another person, submit unlawful content, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law or partner rules.

Call tracking

Calls may use tracking or routing numbers. Where legally permitted and with any required notice or consent, calls may be monitored or recorded for attribution, quality, fraud prevention, or compliance. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and referral service are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim warranties that are not expressly required by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProLocally will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the referral service or from acts, omissions, services, or disputes involving an independent provider. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The version posted on this page, together with its "Last updated" date, is the current version.
